Hello there!

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is  Kelly. I am a California girl, born and raised.  Minutes from the Yuba river, surrounded by oaks, pines and cedars, the Sierra Nevada foothills of this diverse state are where I call home.

I have always loved writing. I love words. I love the way they flow through your mind and onto the paper. I especially love it when words create an environment that pulls the reader through a story effortlessly. 

Throughout my life, art has brought me joy. Living where I do, I am showered in color with each passing season. I love the brilliant greens of spring, the golden tones of summer, the rich reds and oranges of autumn, and crisp outlines of the trees against the cold blue winter sky. Inspired by nature, I often use vibrant tones in non-traditional combinations.

Nowadays, you can find me writing on my deck under a glorious Sycamore tree, painting scenes with my beloved colors, working out at the gym, visiting with friends at the river, or snuggling my mastiff. Life is good.
